Who does not wish to restore greying hair to its natural colour?

Starting with plucking grey hair, one finally shifts to expensive dyes. Everybody realizes the effects of harmful chemicals and the damage it may do the hair but maintaining a pleasant smile is given importance.

‘Mehndi’ has been effectively used by lots of people but it leaves a brownish look on the hair. Black ‘mehndi’ leaves a black look to the hair but the quality of ‘mehndi’ is very important. Established manufacturers are finding a good market but “dyes’ are preferred to achieve the desired looks.

There is a dependable alternative to gain the original look. ‘Sage water’ can be used to restore the natural color without the fear of harmful chemicals and damage to the scalp.

‘Sage leaves may be boiled in water. It is allowed on fire for another thirty minutes on low flame. Allow the sage water to get cooler so that it can be sprayed on the grey hair.

The sage water has to be sprayed on the grey hair regularly. It will change the tone of the hair very slowly from light brown tones to the darker shade. Initially it has to be sprayed twice a day followed with a shampoo wash, in the morning and night. Once the desired shade is achieved, one may use sage water for twice a week. It will help in maintaining the shade of the hair.

Sage is a natural colorant. It will not damage your hair and can safely be left on overnight for maximum effect.
