Golf- Avoid injuries.

Golf- Avoid injuries.

08/29/09 | by Ajit | Categories: Diseases

Golf is a precision club-and-ball sport in which competing players (golfers), using many types of clubs, attempt to hit balls into each hole on a golf course while employing the fewest number of strokes. It is a popular game and widely played in Scotland, New Zealand, Australia, Republic of Ireland, Northern Ireland, Canada, Wales, United States, Sweden, and England.

Golf is an interesting sport which keeps you busy for pretty long time. Besides it offers very good exercise to all the joints of the body and keeps you fit.

This sport has its own drawbacks. Physical and psychological factors may contribute to a phenomenon in golf known as the “yips". It is a problem of sudden tremors, jerking, or freezing while putting. More than 86% of the golfers are experiencing golf slice dilemmas. Golf slice takes place when the clubface makes a “side-spin” on the golf ball. In most cases, people will instantly consider it as a reflexive problem. What they do not know is that it is more on the corporeal matter. Worst part is that most of the players do not know the way to fix it.

Your teaching professional will prescribe treatment in the form of drills and practice. Your clubs will be examined for the best swing effects. Even a quick 10 minute body assessment can help identify the risk factors that lead to swing faults and injuries.

Every golfer wishes to play well, therefore, it is very important to have proper training and perfect body to play on every type of golf-course. You can keep yourself fit by simple motion in your hips, spine and shoulders. You have to maintain proper coordinated motion between the top and bottom of your torso.
