
Greying of hair may be caused due to lack of melanin the body. It may occur even at the age 20s. It may be caused due to excessive stress, smoking or sinus problem.
Dyes are widely used by the people to attain black-shine in the hair.
Are you aware that there are natural remedies to gain the desired results but it would need you to be a little patient for gaining positive results?
1. Make a paste of henna in an iron vessel. Leave that overnight. In the morning, add some walnut pulp. Apply the mixture on hair and leave it dry for 1-2 hours. Then wash it off with care. It not only prevents premature greying but also adds a beautiful red tinge to the hair. It also works as a good hair conditioner.
2. Mix sesame oil or olive oil in the juice of bottle gourd and apply to hair. This is very good for overall health of hair. It also prevents hair-fall.
3. Boil tea leaves in water. Strain and let them cool down. Add two teaspoons of salt and apply the mixture to your hair and scalp. Keep it on for an hour and then wash with plain water. This can be done once in every 10 days. It is known to yield favourable results.
4. Take 100 g of curd. Add 1 g of black pepper to it. Mix the two well and apply evenly on the scalp and hair. Leave it on for an hour and then shampoo with warm water. Try using a mild shampoo. This method is known to give three benefits: a) dandruff-free hair, b) soft and silky hair and c) maintenance of natural hair colour. (People who have a tendency to catch cold and cough should refrain from using this method)
5. .Make a paste of gooseberries and mango seeds. Apply this to the hair and leave it for sometime before washing it off.
6. Rubbing your left and right fingernails is known to prevent greying of hair. Some experts go to the extent of claiming that it can also help restore lost hair colour. You need to fold both your palms inwards and place the fingernails of both hands against each other. Then with regular swift motions, rub them against each other. This rubbing procedure increases the blood flow to the scalp and helps in strengthening the roots. It is simple and can be done anywhere anytime. Do it for about 5-7 minutes twice a day.
